These boots have been studied and engineered by our medical team to aid in several lower leg injuries. These boots specifically support the horses’ tendons and ligaments in a unique way, aligning with the horse’s natural suspensory ligament branches, acting as double protection to not allow that ligament to over stretch, which will then support the deep digital flexor tendon, check ligament and the superficial flexor tendons. This boot is useful for a horse who is rehabbing from an injury of either of the tendons listed above or if you want to prevent him/her overstretching and hyper flexing a tendon, these boots offer great stability, while still protecting his legs. They are designed specifically to mimic the natural support system the horse has, which makes these unique and double supportive that will give you confidence for either a safer rehab or to help in prevention of common sport horse injuries, especially if your horse has longer, sloping pasterns, works in deep footing or is asked to do repetitive work.
